Sometimes stuff breaks. Don’t worry. We have you covered.
Clockwork Tech offers a lifetime labor warranty on all our machines completely free of charge. We are pretty proud of that so we put it up here first. We also offer a 6 month hardware warranty. What this means is that if anything goes wrong within the first six months (granted you didn’t break/destroy/blow up the product on purpose) you don’t pay anything except shipping to have it repaired. If something goes wrong in the first 30 days, you don’t even have to pay that! We will cover all shipping costs! Sounds good, right?
If any hardware needs to be replaced or upgraded, we do it for free. You just pay for shipping, and for the new hardware (unless still covered by warranty). We install it and test the machine again for free before shipping it back.
If any hardware failure occurs within the first 6 months of purchase, the hardware will be replaced for free. There are a few ways we can go about fixing this. The first, and the one we highly recommend, is sending the machine back to us for repair. We put in the new hardware, put your machine back through the paces, and ship it back to you good as new. An extended hardware warranty can be purchased when the order is placed.
The second way we can do this is we can just ship you the replacement hardware, and you can install it yourself. If this route is chosen, and the hardware is NOT installed properly, we will not cover or replace that hardware or your computer. In this instance we assume that you know enough about the hardware to properly install it. The same rules apply to software, including operating systems.
The First 30 Days
Should anything go wrong within the first 30 days of purchase, we will pay to ship the machine back and cover all replacement hardware costs. This does not include shipping damage, which would need to be taken up with the carrier. This also does not include any sort of damage that was NOT caused by faulty hardware, Clockwork Tech, or the carrier. If the product has been damaged through any fault of the customer it is not covered.
None of our warranties cover any software that did not come pre-installed on your machine. We also do not cover any personal hardware changes, or personal overclocking. We do not cover any peripherals, or damage they may have caused to your Clockwork machine, unless they have been ordered through us. We do not cover any damage caused by fault of the customer.
We realize that this can be kind of vague, so we would like to provide a few examples. If any software that has been installed by anyone except Clockwork Tech, we do not cover any damage that it may do to your computer. If the computer has been physically damaged, such as dings and dents in the case, breaking of hinges and doors, damage of internal hardware (most common when somebody drops a computer or perhaps spills something on it), overclocking damage, or tampering with internal hardware, we do not cover it.
