Some of you may know him as Gootecks. He came to me looking for a new machine for Cross Counter TV. We spent some time going over the ins and outs of streaming, recording, and various other production requirements and eventually we came up with a machine that would make Tony Stark blush.

Introducing the Clockwork Flow, the first ever dedicated streaming PC. Built in collaboration with the best in the streaming biz, the Flow is a micro-monolith of astonishing power. Fully configurable to support multiple capture cards, or graphics cards, and brand new Intel Ivy Bridge chips. The Flow has no trouble streaming or recording HD quality video and sound.

“The Clockwork Flow has been a huge boon to us at Cross Counter TV. In addition to reducing the workflow from shooting and editing on DSLRs to being able to edit on the fly, it has also enabled us to step up our production game in the sense that we can get multiple HDMI sources in now with multiple capture cards. This was simply not possible for us before on a laptop, but thanks to the power of the desktop, we are currently able to do 1 game source, 2 HDMI inputs from DSLRs and 2 webcams which gives us a huge edge in the streaming and content production game.”

-”Gootecks” Ryan Gutierrez – Cross Counter TV

Stop by the Flow page for more details and customize yours today.

Started by Daniel “Clockw0rk” Maniago, Fight for Youth is a Charity for the after school program ASES Prep, that controls twelve schools in the Norwalk-La Mirada School District. Funding will go to the “Afterschool’s Got Talent” show held on May 16th at the Excelsior Auditorium in Norwalk.

The tournament in question will host both a Street Fighter X Tekken Doubles event, and a Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Singles competition. Live coverage will take place on Twitch.TV and a donation drive will be set up for all to chip in and help these kids get a well deserved field trip. Clockwork Tech has already committed to helping out, and we ask all our customers and supporters to spread the word.

Soon they will be available in all of our gaming PCs! This new architecture boasts outstanding power, without hefty power consumption. It also offers a whole slew of new features to improve gaming performance from smoother VSYNC, updated PhysX, and absolutely stunning TXAA. NVIDIA was kind enough to break down the entire thing over on their website, and if you’d like to check out all of the new features, you should click here!

It’s no secret that we at Clockwork have a huge spot in our heart for music, so when we decided to develop our first HTPC (home theater PC) we thought “Why not give it to one of our favorite musicians?” — so we did!

We hopped on Twitter and sent a message over to Coheed and Cambria drummer Josh Eppard (who is also one of the sickest hip-hop artists around) to see if he would be interested. His response was confident and resounding: “Uh… yeah!!!”

So, we went straight to work! We needed a powerful home theater control center, but without the big and clunky shells that most desktop computers have.

The “Blue” is our answer. We stuffed as much power as we could into the smallest possible case and gave this little beast a triumphant roar with silky smooth BluRay playback, a massive hard drive, and a ridiculously fast Intel i3 processor. For such a small package, the Blue has a metric ton of power oozing* out of it.

Many thanks to Mr. Eppard for inadvertently naming the Blue, and for all his musical talent. We are proud to give you our very first Clockwork Blue. Shortly after, we plan to make the product available for consumer purchase.

Who is Josh Eppard?
http://www.weerdscience.net/site/

*Ooze sold separately. Not responsible for any damage caused by the ooze. You probably shouldn’t even worry about the ooze. Don’t buy the ooze. We don’t have any.

We at Clockwork recently heard that John Wade, a dear friend and all-around swell guy, had injured himself. John, a professional arcade stick “modder”, suffered burns to his eye while working on a stick at Season’s Beatings, a major fighting game tournament held in Columbus, OH. Due to his injury he has lost almost all use of his eye, resulting in blindness and horrible pains (but at least he gets to wear a slightly cool eye patch!). John has had trouble working with one eye and his ability to work has suffered greatly because of it. One website in particular, Shoryuken, a massive fighting game community in which John is an active and respected member of, stepped up to help John get out of his sticky financial situation and avoid eviction.

Clockwork decided to not donate money, but instead donated a brand new and entirely custom PC to John with hopes of lifting his spirits and giving him a new way to enjoy one of his favorite hobbies. We took the beautiful NZXT Hush and swapped out the standard blue LED lights, replacing them with some more Clockwork-appropriate orange LEDs and giving the beast a quiet glow of power to match the soft hum of life whispering out of its sound-padded exoskeleton. We tested it ferociously for days, trying our best to make it catch or break. It held up to every test we threw at it, and continued to run any game we tested at max settings without a hiccup!

When it was time to ship, we deemed the beast the first ever Clockwork Orange: John Wade Edition.

For more information on Mr. Wade, and how you can help, check out this link.
